Organic Face Care- Beautiful Skin Without The Chemicals

When it comes to looking great, people have tried just about everything to have healthy looking skin. Some of the stuff that was tried throughout history are known poisons and even did a lot of damage to the skin before they tried something else. Skin care and cosmetics companies quickly realized that they needed to test their products on animals before selling it to test for toxicity and other effects, but animal rights activists finally got that type of testing outlawed. The reason companies needed to thoroughly test their products is because of all the chemicals they use to make their products. But companies that make organic facial care products have a much easier time because all their products don’t use those chemicals.

It seems like just about every chemical in existence was tried at one point in time or the other. Even dangerous chemicals like arsenic and formaldehyde were used in a variety of products, and many of the chemicals in use today makes you really wonder just exactly what these companies are thinking. And virtually every product made from traditional methods is packed with one kind of preservative or other. In order for their products to stay usable for as long as possible without degrading and breaking down, preservatives have to be included. With this mix of chemicals and preservatives in traditional products, is it any wonder people have skin issues?

Organic facial care products take a completely different approach. By using organics that are actually good for the skin, not only does the skin look and feel better, but it’s healthier too. This means that people who have had issues with skin types, from dry skin, oily skin or the dreaded combination skin may actually see their skin type normalize because the skin tolerates and even needs all natural products to be its best. Regardless of the product needed, being able to use an organic based product instead of a chemical based one makes for better, and maybe even easier, skin care.

And it doesn’t matter which product you want to use. Whether you’re looking for skin care products like exfoliates, cleansers, scrubs and masks, there are organic versions available. Even all the cosmetics like powders, bases, blushes, eyeliners, lash extenders, lipsticks and lip gloss all have organic versions available. The best thing about organic products is the fact that they do at least as good a job as their chemical filled counterparts, but usually do an even better job. Check out all the great products available and take better care of your skin with all natural face care products. You’ll be glad you did when you look in the mirror and see how great your skin looks.

Learn how to keep yourself cool during hot summer days

Learn how to keep yourself cool during hot summer days. Summer time is the best time of the month to show off your skin, especially your face. But if you don’t take some simple and effective organic skin care precautions it can be dangerous to your skin if you are not 100% prepared.

Practicing the right face care is important because the skin of the face is more sensitive – Heat, dust, hot wind and excessive sun exposure can badly affect good skin by damaging its delicate cells and pores. We have to be more careful while choosing make-up, soaps, creams, moisturizers and sprays in summer more than any other season, because of the reaction the sun can create if we bombard our face with nasty chemicals. Even the food we take plays an important role in skin care. Drinking more water, even if you are not thirsty is important to to allow the body and in particular the organs full efficiency and health maintenance, just by protecting the body from dehydration.

An important face care tip is to never go to bed with make-up, especially during summer. Undertake proper facial cleansing before going to sleep. Try to use natural beauty products to keep your good skin more fresh and healthy, not just in its appearance. You can even try homemade beauty enhancers for face care such as a mixture of honey and sugar. Using a scrub made of equal amounts of honey and corn flour, once a week is helpful to attain good skin. Pampering the skin after a shower with a combination of a couple of drops each of rose, lavender and almond oil can be a wonderful feeling as well as truly useful protection for the skin. A mixture of 4 table spoons of ripe papaya pulp, a squeeze of lemon juice and ½ tsp honey can be used as a refreshing cleanser.

It is highly recommended that anyone wanting to achieve, maintain and perfect skin, washes their face 3-4 times a day with cold water during the summer. And always remember to limit your exposure to direct sunlight when the sun is at the highest. And if you can’t avoid going out at the hottest hours of the day be sure to use sunglasses to cover your eyes and a wide-brimmed hat to keep your face under shade.

Food habits can also help towards providing good skin to a large extent, so eating as many raw foods including fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds is beneficial to maintaining quality skin. Also be sure to avoid alcohol and caffeinated drinks as well as smoking. They can damage not only your health but your beauty too. If possible, avoid oily and spicy food in the summer months. You can even prepare some energy drinks like lemon, ginger and mint leaf mix or tomato, ginger and salt mix at home. But it is better to avoid food items prepared with spinach, garlic, radish, pineapple, beetroot etc.

Also try to lessen the intake of eggs and meat which are not very easy to digest and can create a digestion problem especially during summer season. It’s a fact that exposure to sunlight can provide natural vitamin D to your skin, one of the most important fat-soluble vitamins. Dependent on the temperature and what you are used to, choose the early morning or evening sun for tanning and take proper skin and face care as well as eat healthy food. That way, you can be in love with your skin, your sun and enjoy the season to its full

Without having dealing with our exterior causes, it should be really difficult for the people to overcome their acne challenge, especially when the holistic treatment is carried out even while the individual continue to suffers from “reside and “growing acne. Why the Beauty Industry Hates Men (Part IIIA)

The “Secret Life” of Male Skin Care Shoppers Exposed – Part 1 of a Special 2 Part Exposé

A fundamental strength of any successful business is its ability to answer a clear, confident and consistent YES to the following question at all times: Are you easy to do business with?

At first glance (and each subsequent one, too), the question seems either redundant, or absurd. “Of course,” most business leaders would automatically reply to that strange inquiry, “we’re incredibly easy to do business with. How can you ask such a silly question?”

Well, the reason we can ask such a ‘silly question’ is because a staggering number of businesses in the Beauty Industry aren’t easy to do business with. Not if you’re among the millions of men who are in search of Masculine Face Care (or what the effeminate beauty industry refers to as men’s skin care) and a buying experience that is aligned with a man’s basic, masculine nature.

For millions of masculine men across the US and the rest of the word – ‘doing business’ with the Beauty Industry is anything but easy. In fact, the spectrum ranges from humiliating to hellish.

Go Directly to Female-Centric Department Store Beauty Counters: Do Not Pass GO

Just as unlucky Monopoly® players are told to “Go directly to Jail, do not pass GO,” millions of men stuck playing the Beauty Industry’s strange game are given the same ruthless ultimatum: “If you want to take care of your face, minimize or prevent the visible signs of aging, or just keep your skin healthy, clean and safe from the environment, and you want high quality products to do it – then go directly to department store beauty counters designed exclusively for the shopping pleasure of members of the ‘opposite gender’.

And while most men would refuse to subject themselves to a buying experience that is totally against their nature and preference, there are some who secretly obey this order, because they have no other choice. They need to take care of their appearance, not out of vanity, but to gain an extra edge in an ultra-competitive environment – where first impressions based on how he looks could make or break the deal of a lifetime, or hinder his chances of advancing romantically with she who is the one, before she equates a less than perfect first impression with having no chemistry…

These men understand the need to keep the visible signs of aging at bay, to protect their skin from the daily shave, heat, cold, sun, and other environmental hazards, but they want to do it right and so they are selective about what they put on their face. After all – while that first impression may take mere seconds, it could be months, or years before he gets a second chance (if at all), to overcome the initial rejection. Conventional wisdom says that the opportunities that are truly once-in-a-lifetime, that shape the trajectory of our life path rarely come around twice.

Masculine men who want to gain every advantage deserve to have equal access (as their female counterparts) to the latest and best innovations in Masculine Face Care and anti-aging technologies. Having no other options, secretly and shamefully, men slink into department store beauty sections and awkwardly purchase men’s skin care and men’s anti-aging products as quickly as possible – and then leave just as quickly, before they’re spotted by the wife of an acquaintance, or worse, before they’re caught in the tractor beam of ever hovering beauty consultants.

Another example of the blatant disregard for the preference of masculine consumers is the beauty industry’s Free Gift with Purchase incentives that are promoted year-round at department and specialty beauty stores. Let’s not even pretend that the beauty industry invested much effort into incentives that are tailored to men. In fact, except for a few major holidays where some brands might offer men a tee shirt, duffle, or something equally unimaginative, the rest of the year, men who buy the same skin care brands as his female counterpart can either choose the oh-so-pretty make-up bag packed with lipsticks, eye shadows and mascara, or nothing at all.

How is this possible? The answer is simple. The Beauty Industry is well aware that their retail environment is uninviting to masculine men. Men aren’t their bread-n-butter and they don’t have to cater to you, even if you are the intended end-user of their men’s skin care products. Statistically, 70% of all men’s skin care products are purchased by women, so the objective of these incentives are to entice women to buy for you, rather than to build a relationship with you – directly. Think of these female-centric incentives as the Beauty Industry’s way of bribing (or recruiting) the women around you to spend mega bucks on men’s skin care products that they want her to convince (or nag) you into accepting.

Frankly, there are a lot of choice phrases to describe what the Beauty Industry puts masculine men through – ‘easy buying experience’ isn’t one of them.

The Drugstore Experience – Where the Entire Men’s Skin Care Section Fits into a Shoe Box.

Of course, some might argue: Well, what about drugstores? Men can go there and easily get the men’s skin care products they need.

No, they can’t. Drugstores are no more ‘men friendly’ than department stores, but for very different reasons. You see, the Beauty Industry is all about ‘image’ and there is a very definite ‘hierarchy’ between department store and drugstore brands. Department store brands are considered ‘high-end’ (or prestige) products – usually with price tags that match, but not necessarily the substance that gives them merit.

Skin care and anti-aging products sold at drug and mass merchandise stores are typically known in the beauty industry as ‘low-end’ products. While some brands lure the budget shopper with the perception of ‘value’, others are in line with the old adage – ‘sometimes you get what you pay for’. Brands aside, the undeniable reality is that while there are aisles and seemingly endless rows (or shelves) of female centric beauty products in a typical store, the entire men’s skin care section (if one exists at all) could usually fit in a shoe box. Unless of course, you don’t mind using women’s beauty creams, shopping in the women’s beauty section, nor paying good money for skin care products where the needs of masculine users played no part in their inception.

The On-Line Shopping Experience – and the Erosion of the Golden Rule of Retail Marketing: Put the Product in the Customer’s Hands.

There are also those in the Beauty Industry who believe that on-line shopping is the answer to the Beauty Industry’s Billion Dollar ‘Man Problem’. If masculine men have a problem with department store beauty sections and offers to powder their nose at the beauty counters (where there’s never any obligation to buy – just pressure), then they need not come out at all!

Beauty industry advocates believe that men can simply shop for men’s skin care and men’s anti-aging products in the comfort of his home. There’s plenty of privacy (even more so if the package is delivered in a plain brown package), plenty of selection – try an on-line search for men’s skin care and be delighted with literally millions of web results and thousands of brands to sort through – some more prominent than others, and many of which have their own set of hyperbolic claims – something to the effect x number of users noticed x % of improvement in x number of days or weeks, plus the fine print, usually some blurb about a control group and how results may vary.

And then there are the volumes of contradictory reviews – User A loves it, User B hates it, User C can careless and so on. By the way, have you noticed how many of these men’s skin care product reviews are written by the women who bought them for their men? Where are the actual users – the men behind some of these reviews? Oh I forget, they’d probably rather people not know about the beauty regiment their women put them on.

Regardless of the quality and claims of some of the men’s skin care products available on-line and the credibility of the manufacturers, deciding on the right Masculine Face Care product is a personal decision. Like kicking the tires before buying a truck, the masculine buyer has every right to inspect the product in his hands, decide for himself whether the brand message resonates with his sense of masculinity and would enhance his competitive edge before he invests in the product.

On-line shopping is time consuming, confusing and fraught with unsubstantiated claims and unknown suppliers.

Choosing The Right Skin Care Products

There are some simple pointers that can help you to chose the skin care product that is right for you.

Cost versus quality

Some of the more expensive skin care treatments available can cost up to 150 for a small jar. It can seem difficult for beauty experts to justify these prices and confirm that overpriced products are any more beneficial than the standard skin care brands.

Posh packaging and glossy adverts can be all that we end up paying for with these luxury products. This doesn’t mean thought that it’s ok to opt for the cheapest skin care products either, as these are often poor quality and have little benefit to our skin, and in some cases can even be irritants. 2- 10 is a good price range to aim for.

Trust the well known brands

If there are brands available that have been around for a long time, then there is always a reason for this. People always go back to buy brands that they trust, that have worked well and that they feel offer good value for money. If it’s working for everyone else, it’s likely that it will work for you too. Established skincare brands will also have had many years of research behind their products.

Test the Product

Don’t get distracted by colourful packaging, special offers, or fancy fragrances when you are looking for a skincare product. Test the product out on your own skin to see if it feels like it will work with your skin type. If you have greasy skin then oily products won’t be right for you, and if you have dry skin, go for a heavier or thicker cream or look for a specially developed cream for your skin type.

Mum knows best

Ask you mum, friends and family to tell you about their skincare products and why they buy the products that they do. Ask them too if they have tried any products that they didn’t like. This is the best way to get an honest evaluation of any product and see the results for yourself, as well as advice on where you can buy your ideal skincare products from.

These days’ people are attractive more and more health conscious as well conscious about their outer look. Skin care is part of healthy lifestyle.

Ever wondered why skin care is so significant. Skin covers outer body, hence making it most vulnerable to dust, pollution, seasonal changes, etc. Mental stress, physical stress all directly affects the skin, and the consequences are visible.

Taking care of skin can be done in two ways. The first way of taking care is by external methods. The second way is by overwhelming right type of food. Skin care by external methods depends on the skin type. There are three basic skin types oily, dry and combination.

Being the mirror, the indicator of an individual’s health, skin is the clue to one’s Ayurvedic constitution. This can be understood by the types of skin that one has. Example: If vata is predominant the skin of a person is dry, rough, cold, thin with fine pores and wrinkled.

In case of pitta constitution, the skin is delicate, fair and red toned with freckles, moles or acne and burns easily. If the constitution is of kapha dosha the skin of a person is oily, smooth, moist and thick with a tendency towards large pores.

If the skin is not cared properly and neglected it suffers from premature aging, becomes dull and blemished. Regular consumption of milk, honey and yogurt are good nourishment for skin and prevents premature aging.

Home Remedies for Skin Care

1. Take half a bowl of curd and mix it well with a few drops of lemon (Citrus limon). Gently massage it all over your body. Take a shower after 10-15 minutes. Application of the same twice a week would inform a toned and flawless skin.
